[From the doorway, indignantly:] I'm not old.

[Kyle jumps a mile, instinctively reaching for whatever he can use as a weapon, which in this case is a perfectly ineffective throw pillow. He exhales all at once, then laughs as he gets up. He walks over to Corry to hug him.]

You act it, a little. Hi, handsome.

[courtinsession]

[Corry chuckles in amusement, reaching out and tugging Kyle into his arms, grinning widely.]

Did I scare you? Were you about to kick my ass with a throw pillow? [Answer him after he smooches you, though, Kyle.]

[Okay. Kiss first. But then!]

No! You startled me! Totally different.

[courtinsession]

Uh-huh. [Have a bemused, doubtful smirk, and another kiss.] Then I'm sorry I startled you. Better?

[kyley_b]

Thank you.

[Kyle manages to look both grumpy and smitten at once. He sinks into Corry for a moment before pulling back and smiling.]

I really do have popcorn. C'mon, let's sit on the couch and pick a movie.

[courtinsession]

[Corry obligingly let's himself be led over to the couch, still grinning.] God, you're cute.

Not too scary. [Like he isn't built like a tank and doesn't go boxing every weekend. He could totally punch a demon. He would, in fact, if one tried to eat Kyle or something.]

Why? Because I like doing stuff?

[Kyle snorts and brings up the horror selection on Netflix. He passes the remote to Corry and goes to the kitchen to throw a bag of popcorn in the microwave. He returns soon enough with it dumped into a bowl and flops on the couch, leaning against Corry.]

You like evil clowns? They might have Terrifier. Unless blood freaks you out. You can pick whatever, honestly, I don't think I've been horrified of a movie since The Passion. [Munch, munch.]

We could do a funny one, top, like Shaun of the Dead or something.

[courtinsession]

[Corry waits patiently, watching Kyle putter around the kitchen, a soft half-smile on his face. He obligingly tugs Kyle to lean back against his chest, kissing the top of his head and reaching around to grab a handful of popcorn.]

Mmmhm, because you like doing things with me, specifically. Not many people do.

I've never heard of any of those.

[kyley_b]

Well that's just because they don't know you very well, that's all.

[Kyle takes the remote back with a snort and selects Cabin In The Woods. He settles in with a happy smile.]

It's hilarious that horror movies scare you. You're so big and tough. Which reminds me, you gotta show me how to box.

Hmm, maybe. I don't usually let people get to know me, though, so it's not their fault.

[Corry watches the opening in curiosity, vaguely aware that a "Hemsworth" is a superhero thing. He toys with a few of Kyle's vivid red curls as they snuggle.]

I don't really mind gore and things like that. It's monsters and demons and shit -- the things I can't punch out. [Having his ability to protect in question isn't something Corry likes. Then he grins, fondly.] Yeah? Wanna come with me to my morning workout tomorrow?

[kyley_b]

That's true. But at least you're self aware.

Ohhh. Yeah, okay, I get that. Did I ever tell you Satan used to visit my hometown a lot?

[Kyle lights up.] Dude, yeah I wanna come!

[courtinsession]

That might be the first time anyone's ever told me that.

[Not for the first time, Corry is genuinely concerned about Kyle's hometown.] Yeah? You ever meet him?

Hell yeah, then, you can come with. [Corry grins then, wiggling his eyebrows. Because he's stupid.] If you let me stay over, I'll definitely make sure you come...

[kyley_b]

Well, I'm smarter than most.

Oh, yeah. He's actually really cool. Bad taste in men, though.

[Kyle cackles and shoves Corry's face.] Oh my god, you perv. Yeah, of course you can stay over. [His cheeks go a little pink and he snuggles close again.]

Have you always been so charming?

[courtinsession]

You're a goddamn genius, we've established this. [A thoughtful pause.] Satan's into guys? ...he single?

[Then Corry grins, arms tightening around Kyle, pressing kisses to the side of his neck.] You have that effect on me, babe, I can't help it. Instigating all kinds of pervy thoughts. [Another kiss, right below Kyle's ear.] Nah, I'm showing off for you. Like a peacock.
