(No one had really ever flirted with Danny like this before. He was fresh out of high school and high school had been a unique hell for him. Not that he had ever really been bullied, but he certainly had never had any guy smiling at him the way Corry was. Guys his age didn't seem to know what to do with him at all.

He has a feeling Corry would know precisely what to do with him. And for whatever reason, Danny didn't feel too intimidated by that. What he lacked in experience he could make up for in his natural inclination to explore the unknown with enthusiasm and a healthy (or unhealthy) lack of fear.)

Wow, really asking for the world, huh. (Again, he teases, because a name is hardly anything, but he finds Corry's smile cute and his almost-formality even cuter.)

Irish? (He fosters a guess.) I feel like that's just an easy open for me to say something about enjoying a mouthful of anything that has to do with you, so I'm not taking the bait.
