Hearing Benji's stricken cry through the link, bursting into the clearing to see him convulsing and bleeding, and Kurt terrified and sobbing -- it had been the most frightened the Alpha had ever been. Everything he cares about in the world is in this little cabin. His soul is cuddled up in his arms.

You did so good, so so good." The wolf doesn't look wholly convinced, nuzzling at Kurt's hands with a soft, anxious whine. He's always been the most unsure, the most in need of reassurance.
