The instant Kurt's small, shaky fingers card through his fur, Leo closes his eyes in a wolfish smile of bliss. The pack all grooms each other, of course -- digging thorns and burrs and other forest debris out of one another's hair and fur is a necessity. But Kurt's hands are so much softer and more delicate, seeking out that perfect hollow behind the wolf's ears and rubbing gently, like they were born knowing how. Knotting them had been amazing, but ear scritches are pure bliss. Leo's long silvery tail swishes happily back and forth, prompting Kai (a little bigger, fur a bit longer and darker) to nudge up beside him and smush his wolfy face into Kurt's hand. If Leo's enjoying himself, Kai's not gonna be left out.
Corrigan chuckles softly, leaning back against the furs and stroking his hand up and down Kurt's bare back. Despite the fire and the warmth of their Alpha so close, there are still goosebumps rising all over the human's fair skin, and a shiver to their words that isn't purely pleasure. Frowning, Corrigan meets Naseer's eyes, prompting the biggest, darkest wolf to pad over and hop up onto the makeshift couch. Corrigan himself would change, but considering he's still knotted deep inside Kurt, that might be...a bit much.
Instead he settles back, let's the wolves mill around him and nestle as close as possible, three furry bodies pressed up against Kurt's chilled skin. "We sleep here in the winter," he explains, wrapping his arms around his mate to cover the last exposed bit of them. "That's the only time of year we really feel the cold like you do. But we'll stay close to the den from now on, unless it's warm enough for you to sleep outside with us."
This is said more for the pack than Kurt -- they're not used to someone who gets cold so easily, and there's anxious twitching and rumbling among them all, even Naseer, who knows more about humans than even Corrigan. It's one thing to know logically and another to see your mate, your heart, your beloved shivering with cold. Benji is taking it the worst -- he's still pacing back and forth, in front of the fire, ears pricking at every shaky exhale from Kurt, tail cricked in anxiety.
Glancing at the youngest wolf, silvery-grey and leggy, Corrigan nudges Kurt gently, prompting them to look over. "Benjamin. He's worried you won't get warm enough." It's a gentle sort of test, seeing how well Kurt can reassure the wolves -- they'd done a beautiful job in the heat of passion, but he's curious how they'll handle an anxious, toothy creature nearly as tall as they are.
